Most of low-income Afghan individuals and families, particularly the new Afghan refugees, are unable to afford the cost of funerals and burials, aligned with the Muslim religious and cultural values. Our organization is dedicated to provide financial assistance including low cost burial plots, ensuring that no family is burdened beyond their means during this difficult time.
To provide low-cost burial plots and services, our organization needs to expand its capacity by purchasing at least 200-300 burial plots in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. This expansion is crucial to assist the thousands of new refugees who are unable to afford burial costs. By securing these plots, we can ensure that families have access to religiously and culturally appropriate funeral services for their loved ones at no or minimal cost when they pass away.
