Ibrahim Habib

President

Ibrahim Habib is a successful and reputable Real Estate agent. During his 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, Ibrahim has become one of the most respectable and respected agents in Southern California. In addition, Ibrahim Habib is an active member of the Afghan American community and a philanthropic supporter of a wide array of project and nonprofit organizations.

Ata Tajyar

Vice President

Ata Tajyar received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Facility Planning with an emphasis in Architecture and Construction Management from the University of Nebraska. He was the Head Director of Professional Consultation in Residential and Commercial Facilities Design and Construction. He currently manages his real estate business in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. Ata has been a volunteer Board member for the Afghan Association of Southern California since 2020.

Alam Zazay

Treasurer

Alam Zazay has worked as a Real Estate Agent at Pinnacle Estate Properties in Porter Ranch, California, for the past 21 years. He has helped and guided hundreds of Afghan families with compassion, honesty, and transparency through their home searches.

Laila Ahadi

Secretary

Laila Ahadi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an emphasis on Social Welfare from California State University Northridge. She is a Case and Program Manager at Focus on All Children Therapies, a nonprofit organization providing academic and social support to college and university students on the autism spectrum.

Kawki Anwar

Board Member

Kawki Anwar is the president of the Afghan Women Association of Southern California. Kawki Anwar obtained a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Kabul, Afghanistan. She began her educational career as a teacher at Malalai Girls’ High School. She served ten years as a principal, developing, implementing, and maintaining curriculum standards and establishing educational goals and policies. Kawki Anwar has been serving as a volunteer board member since 2020

M. Zahir Noori

Board Member

M. Zaher Noor is a successful entrepreneur and a motivated computer technician with over 31 years of experience. M. Zaher Noori owns and manages his multiple businesses, Best LA Electrical and Lighting INC and Micro Computer Center INC, in West Los Angeles. He is an active member of the Afghan American community and volunteers his knowledge and time in several nonprofit organizations. M. Zaher Noori has been serving as a volunteer board member since 2020

Saleh Rahimi

Board Member

Saleh Rahimi studied curriculums and received his Masters from the University of Columbia, New York, USA. In addition, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in educational research, measurement, and evaluation from Columbia University. Saleh Rahimi has been serving as a volunteer board member since 2022.
